Libraries Migrates Website to New Content Management System

September 6, 2017

On September 6, 2017, the Drexel University Libraries successfully migrated its website to a new Content Management System (CMS) called Sitecore, the web-accessed CMS used for Drexel University academic and administrative websites.

Libraries staff has taken this opportunity to reorganize the website’s top navigation drop-down menus to ensure an optimal user experience. As of September 6, users will see the following changes:

  • “Search” links appear directly under the catalog search bar and under the “Research Support” drop-down menu with search option descriptions
  • Links to Libguides and Tutorials move to “Research Support” drop-down menu (as well as links directly under the catalog search bar)
  • Interlibrary loan (Borrow from Other Libraries) links move to the “Services” drop-down menu
  • Updated style and formatting changes throughout the site to create a cleaner look and feel, while ensuring the website meets all accessibility standards

For more information or to report an issue with the website, contact library@drexel.edu.
